Blanche Pottorff

Blanche A. Pottorff, 84, Gettysburg, PA., died Friday, March 28, 2008, at Green Acres Nursing Center in Gettysburg, PA.

Pottorff was born May 29, 1923, in Adams County, PA. She was the daughter of the late Charles & Bertha (Heagey) McKinney.

Her husband, the late Chester Dale Pottorff, died in 1993.

She was a member of the Gettysburg Presbyterian Church. She was employed by the former American Store in Gettysburg for many years, and later served as a Physical Therapist for Beegle’s Chiropractic Clinic in Gettysburg.

She was also a member and Past President of The Gettysburg Eagles Auxiliary and a member of V.F.W. Post #15 Auxiliary in Gettysburg.

Pottorff is survived by a daughter, Jane K. Howe, and son, Eugene Dale Pottorff, 7 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
