1. Rally is set for labor
day weekend in sept. of 2010. More updates to follow as time goes on.

Sorry this is such late notice but wanted to let
you know that the Eagle Riders are having the ride that was supposed to
be put together by Connie Clair. As most of you know Connie has
resigned as treasurer of the Eagle Riders. Carl Wetzel was voted in as
the new treasurer at last weeks meeting. The ride will be held this
Sunday (rain or shine) if it rains and you do not want to ride your
bike, some of us are going in cars to deliver the items collected for
the Adams County Food Bank.
Carolyn Hamilton has graciously followed up with the folks at the food
bank and they are expecting us to bring our donations on Sunday
August 1st. There is no cost for the ride and at this time I am not
exactly sure where we are riding to.
The ride starts at the Gettysburg Eagles. Sign
up is 11 a.m. We will leave at noon! The ride will end at
the food bank where we will present our donations and get a tour.
Please bring at least 3 non perisable items with you at the time of sign
up. There is a box in the lobby of the Aeries and many people have made
donations already.
The food bank is in dire need of TOILET PAPER, TOOTHPASTE, TOOTH
BRUSHES, and other personal items.
If you cannot join us on Sunday, please drop off your donations at the
Aeries.
Please try to make the next Eagle Rider meeting in August. The time is
getting closer for the Disabled Veterans Rally in September. We need
everyone's help to make this a success. Continue to try to get sponsors
but most important tell everyone you know that for $25 for four days
they can have a great time, hear 6 live bands and help out the vets. If
they just want to come for one day the cost is $10 per day. Get
involved in your Eagle Rider group!!!!

3.Meetings
are held the fourth Sunday of every month at 10 a.m. at Aeries 1562.
Social nights are every Wednesday starting at 7 p.m.
4. Next Eagle Riders meeting is AUGUST 29th at
10am.
Several charity rides have been scheduled. Anyone is welcome to
participate.
